Mission

The mission of Lark Rise Hall is to establish a beautiful, clean, orderly, and enjoyable classroom environment providing individual and group tutoring to support homeschool students and their parents.

Vision

We are planning to start small, and currently aim to rent one meeting room in the beautiful and historic Provo City Library building, but we would love to one day own our own building and property. We envision having a building with multiple rooms that could accommodate many classes of students with different age ranges and needs. We could set these rooms up with bookshelves, a reading corner, sensory stations, an art station, and other age-appropriate quiet centers that students could visit if they finish their work early. We envision a property with grounds sufficient to build a play structure on for recess, a field to play soccer and sports on, and an area for a formal garden for studying in during nice weather. In short, we would love to give the Provo homeschool community a beautiful, high-quality facility that supports families in achieving their homeschooling goals.

Donations

Lark Rise Hall is working toward non-profit status in order to be able to receive tax-deductible donations. If you feel you can contribute any amount, it would help us in our pursuit of a larger space which we need to achieve our goal of accommodating as many homeschooling families as have interest in joining our program.

Know of a beautiful building or space we might consider?

As a friend of the Lark Rise community, please keep your eyes open for places we might consider renting or possibly purchasing. Renting the Provo Library Young Card Room is one option we are strongly considering for this year, but we would love to find our own space where we could set up sensory stations and a reading corner. The sooner we find somewhere to make a true home base, the better! Please submit a comment in the form below if you know of a lovely location that might meet our needs.
